The Great Lakes Maritime Scholarship was established with the goal of raising awareness of rewarding career opportunities in Great Lakes shipping, and reducing the barrier to entry by providing credentialing information and scholarship awards to high-school seniors and young adults in the rural Upper Peninsula.
The first scholarship is anticipated to begin taking applications in the early spring of 2026. Please check back soon for further details.
